Buyudan is an Asian fantasy tail created by Hitman Comics. It takes place on a different world in a setting much like feudal Japan. The star is Okami Ikari, a ronin seeking vengeance for the slaughter of his father and clan. His father, Okami Arasoi, was the head of the wolf clan. He was defeated by Hebi Kuni, head of the Snake clan, in a duel which lead to the routing of the Wolf and Fox clan forces and victory by the aligned Crane and Snake clans. The Fox and Snake clans where disbanded and the Fox clan's lands where given to Imagawa's Crane clan for their part. Hebi Kuni rose to power as the new Taiko. Years later Okami Ikari seeks to dethrone Hebi Kuni, the most powerful man in the country. He has no clan, no family, only a few old friends and his blade. Will it be enough?
